Dunmore’s trip to the state Class 3A championship game led to the Lady Bucks being the most recognized team on NEPABasketball.com’s All-District 2 team.

Victoria Toomey repeats Player of the Year while Ben O’Brien was named Coach of the Year.

Moriah Murray is a first-team selection as a freshman and Gianna Delfino gives the Lady Bucks a fourth person among the dozen mentioned.

Eight other schools have one representative each, led by Scranton Prep’s Rachael Rose and Holy Redeemer’s Sam Yencha.

Like Murray this season, Rose was a first-team, all-district selection last season as a freshman. Rose and Yencha are both repeat selections on the first team.

Lake-Lehman’s Madison Borum and Old Forge’s Lindsey Welsh complete the first team.

Deflino is joined on the second team by Scranton’s Colette Mulderig, Wallenpaupack’s Megan Guerrieri, Hazleton Area’s Marissa Trivelpiece and Dallas’ Lauren Charlton.

Dunmore went 29-1 and won Lackawanna League Division 3 and District 2 Class 3A championships.

Every first-team selection participated in the state tournament.

Of the 11 players selected, 8 are underclassmen.
