2018-19 College Recap: Keystone women

Top Player: Freshman guard Mac Oribello became the first Keystone College player to earn CSAC Rookie of the Year honors and was also a first-team all-star selection. She played in just 13 games overall, but 12 were in the conference which she led in scoring with 18.1 points per game. She was also third in the conference in both 3-pointers made (2.7) and 3-point percentage (29.7).

District 2 Alumni: Savanna Robinson, a junior guard from Coughlin, played 23 games, making 19 starts. She averaged 8.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 34.3 percent from 3-point range. Taylor Millard, a freshman guard from Susquehanna, played in 13 games, scoring 6 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Notes: Keystone reached the CSAC Championship game before falling to Rosemont, 80-55. … The Giants were a .500 team before putting together a six-game winning streak that carried them into the final. … Oribello had a season-high 27 points in a win over Clarks Summit Feb. 9. … Sophomore guard Khaliah Gordon was a second-team CSAC all-star. … Robinson is a three-sport athlete on the college level, fitting basketball in between being a high-scoring, all-star performer in field hockey and lacrosse. … Danella earned her 100th career coaching win in her first season at Keystone, which ended with her at 104 wins. She had previously coached at Urbana, Caldwell and San Francisco State.
